News and Information for Consigners

Consigning at the Kids Echo has many benefits. Not only are you helping the environment by recycling your child's unused or outgrown items, but you can also earn money or credit toward future purchases. In addition, you can feel good knowing that your items are helping to provide an affordable alternative for your friends and neighbors.

All clothing and clothing accessories MUST BE FRESHLY LAUNDERED AND IRONED. DO NOT HANG OR FOLD CLOTHING - please lay unfolded items flat in a large box or tub. We can no longer accept unironed items or items that are brought in plastic bags due to wrinkling that may occur.

FALL AND WINTER CLOTHING - The Kids Echo will begin booking appointments for fall/winter clothing and accessories on the first Tuesday in June. Please call or stop by to schedule your appointment on or after the first Tuesday in June.

SPRING AND SUMMER CLOTHING - The Kids Echo will begin booking appointments for spring/summer clothing and accessories on the first Tuesday in January. Please call or stop by to schedule your appointment on or after the first Tuesday in January.

FURNITURE, TOYS, AND BABY ACCESSORIES - The Kids Echo is currently accepting appointments for furniture, toys, and baby accessories. Appointments are limited, so please call or stop by to set up your appointment. We recommend that you email us a list of your items in advance. Emails can be sent to kidsecho@verizon.net.

TIPS FOR CONSIGNING - While we do our best to have enough appointments available, we can sometimes run out of clothing appointments very quickly. We have many consignors and many new people interested in consigning with us. We book clothing appointments for two consignment periods - spring/summer and fall/winter. The appointment schedule for spring/summer opens on the first Tuesday in January and the first Tuesday in June for fall/winter. This means, you need to call to make your appointment as soon as the appointment schedule opens. So, mark your calendar for the first Tuesday in January and the first Tuesday in June to call for your clothing appointment. Clothing appointments are limited to 30 pieces per appointment. All items must be carefully checked for damage, freshly laundered and pressed. Any items not laundered or pressed will not be accepted.

APPOINTMENTS -

The Kids Echo accepts merchandise by appointment only. We carefully screen all merchandise in order to ensure the best possible quality and selection of merchandise for our customers. For this reason, we are unable to accept any drop-offs.
